Pre-birth Acupuncture
Pre-birth acupuncture refers to a series of acupuncture treatment in the final weeks of pregnancy to prepare women for childbirth.
Weekly acupuncture treatments from week 36 to week 39 or until delivery promote a healthy and natural birth. A set of points are normally used, possibly with additional points chosen to deal with presenting problems such as emotional distress, insomnia, or posterior positioned babies.
